Vegetable tempura | Black Garlic Carving Seasoning
For 4 people :
- 5 carrots
- 3 courgettes
- 2 fennels
- 3 courgettes
- 2 fennels
- 80 g of flour
- 30 g cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon yeast
- 1 egg
- Frying oil
- Salt pepper
- Frozen water
- Cut the vegetables into sticks.
- In boiling water, pre-cook the vegetables for about 10 minutes.
- Mix egg and flour.
- Gradually add the ice water until you get the right texture.
- Salt and pepper your tempura batter.
- Put oil to heat.
- Dip the vegetables in the batter and put in the boiling oil.
- Remove from the fryer once the tempura have lightly colored.
- Enjoy with a cold sauce and Black Garlic Carving Seasoning.
