
Vegetable Tempura & Black Garlic Recipe
For 4 people:
- 5 carrots
- 3 zucchinis
- 2 fennels
- 80 g of flour
- 30 g of cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon of yeast
- 1 egg
- Frying oil
- Salt, pepper
- Ice water
- 1 stick of organic Black Garlic seasoning

- Cut the vegetables into sticks.
- Parboil the vegetables in boiling water for about 10 minutes.
- Mix the egg and the flour.
- Gradually add the ice water until you get the right texture.
- Salt and pepper your tempura batter.
- Heat some oil.
- Dip the vegetables in the batter and put them in the boiling oil.
- Remove from the fryer once the tempura has lightly browned.
- Enjoy with a cold sauce and the Black Garlic seasoning to chop.
