French black garlic by Maison Boutarin
The black garlic used in our pencil is produced by Maison Boutarin in the Drôme region, using PGI-certified white garlic from the Drôme. It is obtained through a long maturation process at low temperature, which develops its notes of candied fruit, licorice, undergrowth, and balsamic vinegar.

Recommended amount:

1 to 2 curls per appetizer bite ;
5 to 8 curls per plate.

What is an OCNI pencil and how do you use it?

An OCNI pencil is an innovative seasoning you can sharpen, made from plant-based ingredients. Simply use the included sharpener to create shavings directly onto your dishes and appetizers, just the way you like.

Can I buy the pencil without the sharpener?

Yes. If you already own an OCNI pencil sharpener, you can find all our flavors among our refills.

When should the wood chips be added?

Sharpen the pencil directly over your plate when serving. It goes just as well with hot dishes, such as risotto or cream soup, as it does with cold preparations, such as a slice of bread with cream cheese.

Are the flavors strong? Can the intensity be adjusted?

The flavors are balanced and designed to enhance your dishes without masking them.
You can adjust the intensity by adding more or fewer shavings according to your taste.

What are the delivery times and return policies?

Orders are generally shipped within 1 to 3 business days after payment confirmation. The standard shipping time is then 2 to 3 business days, depending on the destination and the carrier. Rates and delivery zones are indicated on our Shipping and rates page.

You have a period of 14 days from receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal. The shipping box may be opened, provided that the products remain complete and intact. For food products, individual tubes must remain unopened.

After informing us of your withdrawal, you have 14 days to return the products. Return shipping costs are at your expense. The refund will be issued no later than 14 days following your withdrawal request, with the possibility for OCNI Factory to wait until the return is received or proof of shipment is provided before issuing the refund.
