Apple fritters | Basil Carving Seasoning
- 2 apples
- 2 eggs
- 140g of cream
- 1 houses of sucre
- 1 case of oil
- Icing sugar
- 1/2 sachet of yeast
- Frying oil
- Mix the flour, baking powder and the tablespoon of sugar.
- Add the eggs and oil to obtain a homogeneous mixture.
- Gradually add the cream to your preparation to avoid lumps.
- Leave the dough to rest for about 1 hour at room temperature.
- Meanwhile, peel the apples, remove the core and cut into quarters of about 5cm.
- In a saucepan put ½ liter of oil to heat (or use your fryer).
- Coat the apples with the dough and put them in the hot oil.
- Remove them when the donuts are nicely colored.
- Place your donuts in the oven for around 10 minutes at 180°C so that the apples are very soft.
- Sprinkle with icing sugar and serve with shavings of Basil Carving Seasoning.
