Apple fritters | Basil Carving Seasoning

For 8 donuts:

- 2 apples
- 2 eggs
- 140g of cream
- 1 houses of sucre
- 1 case of oil
- Icing sugar
- 1/2 sachet of yeast
- Frying oil

  1. Mix the flour, baking powder and the tablespoon of sugar.
  2. Add the eggs and oil to obtain a homogeneous mixture.
  3. Gradually add the cream to your preparation to avoid lumps.
  4. Leave the dough to rest for about 1 hour at room temperature.
  5. Meanwhile, peel the apples, remove the core and cut into quarters of about 5cm.
  6. In a saucepan put ½ liter of oil to heat (or use your fryer).
  7. Coat the apples with the dough and put them in the hot oil.
  8. Remove them when the donuts are nicely colored.
  9. Place your donuts in the oven for around 10 minutes at 180°C so that the apples are very soft.
  10. Sprinkle with icing sugar and serve with shavings of Basil Carving Seasoning.
