
Recipe for Banana Bread & Espelette Pepper
For 3 people:
- 3 bananas
- 100 g of butter
- 200 g of flour
- 1 packet of yeast
- 15 cl of milk
- 1 g of cinnamon
- 10 hazelnuts
- 180 g of sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 stick of Espelette Pepper seasoning
- Mash the bananas and add the milk.
- Soften the butter and mix in the sugar.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract one by one.
- Then incorporate your butter mixture into the banana puree.
- Mix the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon.
- Add the flour gradually to your mixture.
- Then pour the mixture into a buttered mold.
- Bake for 1 hour in a preheated oven at 180°C.
- Let cool and serve warm accompanied by some Espelette pepper flakes.
