Banana bread | Espelette Pepper Carving Seasoning

Recipe imagined by Arthur Huet, assistant of the Savant Food

For 3 people:

- 3 bananas
- 100 g of butter 
- 200 g of flour 
- 1 packet of dry yeast
- 15 cl of milk
- 1 g of cinnamon 
- 10 hazelnuts 
- 180 g of sugar
- 2 eggs 
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

  • Mash the bananas and add the milk.
  • Soften the butter and stir in the sugar.
  • Add the eggs and vanilla extract 1 by 1.
  • Then add your butter mixture to the mashed banana.
  • Combine flour, baking powder and cinnamon.
  • Sprinkle the flour into your mixture.
  • Then pour the mixture into a buttered mold.
  • Bake for 1 hour in an oven preheated to 180°C.
  • Leave to cool and serve lukewarm with a few Espelette pepper shavings.
