Recipe for Flambéed Banana and Curry & Turmeric

For 2 people:

    1. Peel and cut the bananas in half lengthwise.
    2. Pour the sugar into a saucepan, adding a few drops of water. 
    3. Once the sugar starts to caramelize, add the bananas.
    4. Deglaze with the juice of half a lemon.  
    5. Cook for a few minutes on each side (be careful not to make banana compote).
    6. Add the rum and flambé using the burner or a match.
    7. Remove from heat once the flames have disappeared.
    8. Plate with a scoop of ice cream and Curry and Turmeric seasoning stick.
