Flaming banana | Curry & Turmeric Carving Seasoning
For 2 people :
- 2 bananas
- 100 g of sugar
- 1/2 lemon
- 4 cl of white rum
- 100 g of sugar
- 1/2 lemon
- 4 cl of white rum
- Peel and halve the bananas lengthwise.
- Pour the sugar into a saucepan, adding a few drops of water.
- Once the sugar begins to color, add the bananas.
- Deglaze with the juice of half a lemon.
- Leave to cook for a few minutes on each side (be careful not to make compote with the bananas).
- Add the rum and flambé using the burner or a match.
- Remove from the heat once the flames have died down.
- Serve with a scoop of ice cream and the Curry & Turmeric Trimming Seasoning.
