Vanilla ice cream | Basil Carving Seasoning
For 2 people :
- 500ml of milk
- 1 vanilla pod
- 6 egg yolks
- 100 g of sugar
- 1 vanilla pod
- 6 egg yolks
- 100 g of sugar
- 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
- 20 cl of cream
- Mix the milk and the vanilla pod and put on the heat.
- Add the caster sugar and the vanilla sugar to the egg yolks.
- Whisk the egg mixture until it whitens.
- Stir the hot milk into the egg mixture.
- Return to heat and cook over low heat.
- Once the custard has thickened slightly, remove from heat and let cool.
- Then pour your preparation into an ice cream maker or an ice cream maker and let set.
- Serve directly, accompanying your ice cream with shavings of Basil cutting seasoning.
