
Vanilla & Basil Ice Cream Recipe
For 2 people:
- 500 ml of milk
- 1 vanilla pod
- 6 egg yolks
- 100 gr of sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 20 cl of cream
- 1 seasoning pencil to carve Basil

- Mix the milk and the vanilla pod and heat.
- Add the granulated sugar and vanilla sugar to the egg yolks.
- Whisk the egg mixture until it whitens.
- Incorporate the hot milk into the egg mixture.
- Return to the heat and cook over low heat.
- Once the custard has slightly thickened, remove from heat and let cool.
- Then pour your preparation into an ice cream maker or sorbet maker and let it set.
- Serve directly by accompanying your ice cream with shavings of the Basil seasoning to shave.
