Vanilla & Basil Ice Cream Recipe

For 2 people:

 
    1. Mix the milk and the vanilla pod and heat.
    2. Add the granulated sugar and vanilla sugar to the egg yolks. 
    3. Whisk the egg mixture until it whitens.
    4. Incorporate the hot milk into the egg mixture.  
    5. Return to the heat and cook over low heat.
    6. Once the custard has slightly thickened, remove from heat and let cool.
    7. Then pour your preparation into an ice cream maker or sorbet maker and let it set.
    8. Serve directly by accompanying your ice cream with shavings of the Basil seasoning to shave.
